Baby Corn Schezwan Fingers
A tantalizing Indo Chinese starter that can surely be enjoyed any time of the day!!
Ingredients
- Baby corn - 6-7
- Dark Soya Sauce - 1 tsp
- Schezwan chutney - 2 tsp ( chings Brand)
- Ginger Garlic paste - 1 tsp
- Red Chilli powder - 1 tsp
- Oil - for deep frying
- For the batter
- Cornflour - 1/4 cup
- All purpose flour (maida) - 1/4 cup
- pepper powder - a sprinkle
- Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
- Orange food color - optional
- Ginger Garlic paste - 1 tsp
- Salt - as per taste
Instructions
- Marinate the babycorn with soya sauce, salt, ginger garlic paste ,red chilli powder and schezwan Chutney and keep aside. ( you may parboil the baby corn in saltwater if they aren't very tender)
- Mix in the All Purpose Flour ( Maida) along with corn flour also add ginger garlic paste, Pepper powder, food colour( optional),Red chilli powder. Add water and make a batter that isn't too thick or too runny.
- Dip the marinated baby corns into the batter and deep fry them until golden brown.
- Serve hot along with Schezwan Chutney.
